CoolSculpting is a safe FDA-cleared medical device used in the non-surgical treatment of stubborn subcutaneous fat in 9 approved areas: chin, bra lines, upper arms, back, abdomen, love handles (flanks), outer thighs, inner thighs, under buttocks (banana roll). It destroys the fat cells which your body eliminates slowly through your urine over the next few days, weeks and months.  

Is Coolsculpting ELITE for me? YES, for all adults (men and women) as a treatment to permanently destroy fat cells without surgery. Zero downtime, and no complications from anesthesia or surgery as seen in some cases of tummy tucks or body liposuctions.

How long does it take to treat a body area? It takes about 35-40 minutes to treat a body area and has zero downtime allowing you to return to work and other lighter activities the same day. The ELITE technology is the latest and most effective Coolsculpting technology that allows us treat 2 body sites at the same time thus saving you time.

When will I start to see results? Will the same fat come back? The result after treatment usually starts to show in the first 30 days and show more by 8-10 weeks when we schedule your follow up visit after the first round of treatment. For areas with bigger stubborn fat, we recommend doing more than 1 session spaced out 8-10 weeks apart. Who should NOT get Coolsculpting ELITE?

CoolSculpting ELITE is NOT for you if you have any of the following medical conditions: pregnant, breastfeeding, autoimmune diseases caused by exposure to cold such as: cryoglobulinemia paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria PNH, cold agglutinin disease. Not approved for children under 18 years of age. If you have a history of abdominal hernia, even if was treated, we strongly discourage Coolsculpting to the abdomen, however you would be able to do it to other areas of your body.

What to expect and possible side effects?

It is a safe treatment, and most patients have an enjoyable comfortable experience during the treatment as they fall asleep, listen to music, watch a movie, or work remotely from our treatment room.

During the first few minutes, very few patients may feel some tugging, tingling, stinging, intense cold and pressure sensation around the treatment body site where the vacuum is applied. These sensations will get better and stop as the area becomes numb from the cold used to destroy the fat cells.

Very rare side effect that could happen in 1 out of 3000 is paradoxical hyperplasia, meaning the tissue around the treated getting bigger. In this very are side effect, surgical treatment will be necessary.
