Who should NOT get Coolsculpting ELITE?

CoolSculpting ELITE is NOT for you if you have any of the following medical conditions: pregnant, breastfeeding, autoimmune diseases caused by exposure to cold such as: cryoglobulinemia paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria PNH, cold agglutinin disease. Not approved for children under 18 years of age. If you have a history of abdominal hernia, even if was treated, we strongly discourage Coolsculpting to the abdomen, however you would be able to do it to other areas of your body.

What to expect and possible side effects?

It is a safe treatment, and most patients have an enjoyable comfortable experience during the treatment as they fall asleep, listen to music, watch a movie, or work remotely from our treatment room.

During the first few minutes, very few patients may feel some tugging, tingling, stinging, intense cold and pressure sensation around the treatment body site where the vacuum is applied. These sensations will get better and stop as the area becomes numb from the cold used to destroy the fat cells.

Very rare side effect that could happen in 1 out of 3000 is paradoxical hyperplasia, meaning the tissue around the treated getting bigger. In this very are side effect, surgical treatment will be necessary.

For some patients with hormonal conditions that triggers new hair growth, the new hair that grows back is softer and thinner and less in quantity before they got treated which improves overall satisfaction and reduces the need to shave or have skin irritation from ingrowing hair. In those cases, a minor Diolaze XL touch up will be very effective.

Is it painful?

NO because DIOLAZE XL features and in-built cooling that minimizes discomfort and makes the sensation feel like a slight tingling or snapping. We reduce this discomfort by applying a numbing cream before your treatment.

Who should NOT get DIOLAZE XL hair removal?

In general, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should not get treated.

For others avoid treatment to the any area that has active infection, recent sun burn, tenderness, preexisting swelling, or if you have recently taken of Isotretinoin (Accutane) in the last 6 months.

Avoid in areas where tretinoin (retin-A) has been used in the last 14 days.
